New President Director of Nissan Indonesia 2016 from the Philippines Expats

Nissan announced the appointment of Antonio Zara, as President Director PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI), Effective April 1, 2016. Replaces Steve Ardianto who will relinquish his post on March 31.

Earlier, Antonio Zara served as President and Managing Director of Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI). Has extensive experience in the automotive industry in several Asian countries, including Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, Japan and the Philippines, both in field sales, service and marketing.

Meanwhile Steve Ardianto, up his position as President Director of PT NMI on July 1, 2014. He has led the successful launch of Datsun in Indonesia, and also two other global models, All New NP300 Navara and All-New X-Trail in Indonesia.

"I would like to say thank you to Steve for his contribution outstanding for Nissan in Indonesia and welcoming Antonio as the new President Director of PT NMI, " said Toru Hasegawa, President of 

"Under the leadership of Antonio, Nissan's market in Philippines grew more than 65% in one year and I believe Antonio leadership also will bring a positive contribution for Nissan in Indonesia, "said Hasegawa.

Antonio will continue his duties as President and Managing Director NPI until 1 April 2016.
